BLACK REVIEWS of WHITE SH$T – Album Review – Raised Under Grey Skies (deluxe) – JP. Cooper

So before I begin I have to admit something….

…I LOVE all of those white R&B dudes that a lot of folk like to hate on. Jon B., JT, Robin Thicke, Daley, man I just LOVE that shit. They all have put out great music and every time they release something new I am there.

That brings me to J.P. Cooper. I first heard of him with his song “Satellite” that i just loved and subsequently couldn’t wait until he came out with his album.

“John Paul Cooper (born 2 November 1983), known professionally as JP. Cooper, is an English singer and songwriter. He is best known for featuring on the Jonas Blue single “Perfect Strangers“. The song was certified platinum in the UK. His follow-up solo single is “September Song“. He is signed to Island Records”. per Wikipedia

Now about this new album “We Were Raised Under Grey Skies”. Let me ask you a question. When is the last time you have listened to every song on an album and liked it? I mean EVERY song! Well that is what happened when I listed to this. I enjoyed all 17 songs after the first listen.

I honestly couldn’t tell you the genre of music this album represents. It’s some kind of soulful amalgamation of r and b and pop.

I think it would be a great listen while driving a long commute or during dinner.

I give J.P. Coopers Raised Under Grey Skies 🍗🍗🍗🍗😊
